    paper Satirical news show - The Struggle

    The Struggle is a satirical news program aired on Channel 31 Melbourne, where I started as a Video Editor for two seasons before stepping up as a Series Producer. I worked on creating engaging packages with motion graphics, captions, music, and sound effects. In addition, I also designed posters for award nominations and filmed correspondent segments. I was honoured to have my editing skills recognised with the Most Outstanding Editor award at the 2023 MOJO Awards.

    paper World Bee Day: Save the Bees

    World Bee Day: Save the Bees is a mini-documentary group project created as part of our Journalism degree. It explores the impacts of Black Summer bushfires on beekeepers in New South Wales and Victoria.

    For this project, we interviewed local beekeeper Lindsay Callaway, who shared his struggle and motivation to raise awareness about the challenges bees face in maintaining their habitats.

    As a video editor for this project, I used Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Canva to design and incorporate motion graphics, stop motion, sound effects, and music to make the video fun and engaging.

    During my time volunteering at Channel 31 Melbourne, I was honoured to edit three episodes of The Eco Show – an Australian environmental series broadcast nationally on the SBS network. Using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, I transformed raw footage into cohesive 20-minute episodes. This experience deepened my understanding of how to effectively use music, ambient sounds, B-roll footage, pieces to camera, and narration to craft compelling stories.
