Chris Gordon

Hi, I’m a producer, composer and musician who loves helping other artists realise the peak versions of their work, whether that be starting on tracks from scratch and helping develop a unique sound or capturing the best performances of an already fully formed band.

This Spotify playlist will give you a flavour of my production work.

In a long musical career I have had the privilege, of working with some of the worlds top producers — Atticus Ross (NIN, Korn) , Steve Osborne (Doves, U2) , Steve Fitzmaurice (Depeche Mode, U2) ), Mark “Spike” Stent (Massive Attck, Bjork) , and Nick Launay (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arcade Fire). Each taught me something different about sound, experimentation, and detail, and their influence still resonates through my work today.

One of my longest collaborations has been with Mónica Naranjo, one of Spain’s best-selling artists — together we’ve produced multiple No.1 albums and singles., including Tarantula (2008) Lubna (2016) and Mimetika (2022).

As a former singer and touring musician myself I bring much experience and uderstanding of the processes and psychology of making records. I always aim to make something distinctive, emotional, and memorable in full collaboration with each artist.

Besides my production work I also have 20 years experience creating music for Adverts, Shortfilms and other formats, you can find links to some examples on my personal website here.
