Elsa Hana Chung is a multi-hyphenate creative born and based in New York City. Her work navigates the intersections of the embodied feminine, the troubled female psyche, the metadramatic, and the metacinematic. She studied Film and Media Studies at Columbia University, graduating with Phi Beta Kappa, Latin, and Departmental honors.
She is currently producing Si la Isla Quiere (Island Willing), a short documentary in post-production about the biodiversity and community stewardship of Chile’s Robinson Crusoe Island. She is also developing Frankenstein, a feminocentric reimagining of Mary Shelley’s iconic tale set in a techno-futuristic, dystopian New York City.
