I am an award-winning filmmaker and production operations leader with 15+ years overseeing large-scale content workflows, post-production teams, and international deliverables. Previously, I served as HBO’s Operations Manager, supervising final QC and global delivery for major series and documentaries across 17 European markets and Latin America.
As a director and producer of the award-winning feature documentary TransMexico, I led development, field reporting, editing supervision, localization, and festival delivery, while building partnerships with festivals, networks, and community organizations to maximize impact and reach. My work spans documentary, docu-follow, vérité, and interview-driven formats, always focused on telling intimate stories with cultural resonance.

Directed and produced the award-winning feature documentary TransMexico, leading all phases including development, field reporting, cinematography supervision, localization, and festival delivery. Managed six-figure production budgets, contracts, insurance, payroll, and vendor negotiations. Hired and supervised field crews across the U.S. and Mexico, planned multi-city vérité and docu-follow shoots, and oversaw post-production workflows including rough cuts, color, sound, subtitles, and master delivery for festivals and distributors. Oversaw bilingual workflows (English/Spanish subtitling) and territory-specific versions. Developed unscripted formats focused on LGBTQ+ narratives, identity, culture, and resilience, and built partnerships with festivals, networks, community organizations, and media outlets to maximize impact.
Directed final post-production QC and international delivery workflows for premium HBO originals across 17 European territories. Supervised image, audio, dubbing, and subtitle QC across language versions, ensuring broadcast-grade quality, sync integrity, and 5.1 audio compliance. Led international versioning, including localized masters, M&E tracks, dubbed audio, subtitle packs, metadata, artwork, and legal/compliance documentation. Collaborated with mastering vendors, post houses, localization studios, engineering, and legal teams to resolve issues prior to launch. Managed go-live workflows under tight deadlines and ensured regional standards for delivery and regulatory compliance.
Led the Content Validation Team for Latin America and the U.S., supervising QC for major titles including Game of Thrones, Westworld, Euphoria, The Deuce, and hundreds of films. Executed full QC across image, audio, subtitles, and dubbing; oversaw localization across Spanish, Portuguese, and English versions. Supported HBO GO / HBO Max launches through master validation and cross-platform playback testing. Validated 15,000+ titles across Smart TVs, iOS, Android, Roku, Chromecast, and desktop platforms. Coordinated with engineering, post-production, affiliates, and regional content teams across the U.S., Mexico, and Colombia.
