I am Claudia Syhre, a Berlin-based film and video editor with a strong track record in indie dramas, documentaries, and experimental shorts. I work across the full post-production pipeline, from editorial and sound design to color grading, subtitling, dubbing, post-production supervision, workflow development and archive management. I edit with AVID, DaVinci Resolve Studio, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro X, collaborating closely with directors. My passion lies in shaping performances and creating strong character moments and story arcs. My strengths are my innate empathy and capacity to listen, and that I derive great joy from solving problems in a creative way. I have received training in dramaturgy, sound editing, colour grading, fine arts and theatre. I love film as a medium, whether fictional or documentary, for its ability to capture (or create) genuinely human moments and offer intimate insights into other people's lives.
