I’m Cai Gausden, a passionate film and video editor with a strong grounding in Adobe, DaVinci Resolve and AVID. I earned a BA (Hons) in Media Production from the University of South Wales, where I graduated with First. I love shaping stories in post-production and collaborating with directors and crews to bring ideas to life.
My experience spans documentaries, festival work, teaching film & TV, and collaborative editing on BBC projects. I’ve edited material for Green Man Festival and Immersed Festival, and I’ve taught editing techniques at the Pauline Quirke Academy. In my spare time I continue making my own films, constantly learning new craft elements and exploring film-making in all its facets, from concept to final cut. I also enjoy camping and outdoor adventures which fuel my creative perspective.
