Olivér Mihály Kovács

From a young age, music has been a central part of my life. I began playing the violin at seven and picked up the guitar at fourteen. It was also at fourteen that I started to delve into composition, a passion that has shaped my career. My work spans a wide range of media, including music for video games and films, and my tracks speak for themselves.
I have a solid theory foundation and am proficient with DAW software and synthesizers. My style covers everything from symphonic, epic film-score-like compositions to piano pieces and electronic music, and I have even composed metal. I collaborate with instrumentalists and vocalists to enrich my work. In addition to composing, I am the creator of the Composer’s Compass YouTube channel, launched on 2024-06-28, where I share tutorials, composing sessions, and insights into the creative process. The channel has grown steadily and now has thousands of subscribers, with new people joining every month. Notable projects include Tales of the Laser Knights (video game), Bean Stalker (video game), and Riddle of Strider (song).
