Crea Sullivan is an Irish composer, orchestrator, and violinist whose lush, evocative orchestral scores span film, television, video games, theatre, and concert performance. Her music has been recorded by world-class ensembles including the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Budapest Art Orchestra, and at AIR Studios in London. In 2025, she was awarded 'Best New Composer' at the Kinsale Shark Awards, recognising her distinctive voice and storytelling through sound. Her credits include short films You Can’t Keep Running (Time Storm Productions), Beef Tallow (Tulsi Shivaanand, Straight8), Call Me Anon (Oisin McKeogh), La Habitación de Eva (Daniela Rey), and the short documentary A Very Narrow Bridge (Benjamin Furman). She also composed for the stage production Bro’s (King’s Head Theatre, London, 2025), praised for its evocative sonic landscape, and co-composed the score for the video game Katto Rising Tides (Arcadia Games & ESAT, 2024). Passionate about orchestration and collaboration, Crea has assisted and orchestrated for award-winning composer Sandrine Rudaz, and recently provided additional orchestration for Nainita Desai on an upcoming Netflix documentary, 'Murder in Monaco'. Earlier this year, she worked on AVAWAVES score for The Buccaneers Season 2 (Apple TV) providing music copying and preparation. She previously worked closely with John Lunn (Downton Abbey, The Last Kingdom) as part of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra’s Film Composers Lab, where she received one-on-one mentorship and orchestral recording experience. Alongside her screen work, this year she was commissioned by UCIMR for a new string quartet, Awakenings, which was performed by the ConTempo Quartet in a series of multimedia concerts across London, Dublin, Bucharest, and more. Crea received a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music, where she earned her Master’s in Scoring for Film, Television, and Video Games, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She previously completed a Joint Honours degree in Music and Mathematics at Trinity College Dublin, graduating with First-Class Honours. She has also completed mentorships with Pieter Schlosser and Toby Jarvis, and an internship with Patrick Jonsson in 2024.
