I am Carli "Dakota" Williams, a trumpet player and music educator and composer based in Jacksonville, Florida. I perform with brass ensembles and rock groups across the greater Jacksonville area, I substitute as a private instructor to help students develop strong musical foundations, and I compose jazz and indie music that has previously been performed at the University of North Florida. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies at the University of North Florida, where I’m involved with the Wind Symphony and Jazz Ensemble II. I’ve performed with the Honors Wind Ensemble at Carnegie Hall in February 2023, and I also teach private lessons at Morris Music Academy.
