I am a young and creative multimedia practitioner with an honours-level national qualification in Journalism and Media Studies from Rhodes University. My passions and proficiencies lie in the arts of storytelling and digital media, with a particular emphasis on the production and editing phases of the processes. Highlights from my experiences include hosting the National Science Festival show, delivering news readings for the local Rhodes Music Radio station and executive producing for CASRadio, a Rhodes University Creative Club subsidiary. Through my academic journey, I have had the opportunity to hone my media skills through crafting short and long-form audio/visual packages, sound-rich interviews, creative and scholastic writings, as well as basic web designs to name a few. I have a widened breadth of expertise applicable in general storytelling, news and creative content production, forming the core of my vocational capabilities. My background in psychology has equipped me with intra- and interpersonal adaptability, robust communication frameworks, analytical research skills, and critical thinking, which has afforded me the ability to learn, adapt to, and delve into the intricacies of my media-related work. Having completed my academic tenure, I am eager to contribute to innovative multimedia projects and organisations. Excited about learning and gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic media industry, I am poised to bring my unique perspective and creative energy to any endeavour within the mediascape.
