Hi, I’m Daniela Cantu, a filmmaker and writer based in Chicago, currently pursuing a Master of Science in Magazine Journalism at Northwestern University. My work spans directing, screenwriting, and documentary storytelling, often on cross-cultural collaborations between Emerson College and Paris College of Art. I aim to blend creative practice with critical thinking to explore underrepresented voices and diverse storytelling forms. I love shaping narratives from concept to screen, collaborating with producers, editors, and actors, and mentoring peers through student councils and film festivals.
