FinTech Startup - Austin, TX - Product design

Augment, based in Austin, Texas, is a marketplace that enables shareholders, investors, and brokers to trade shares of private companies. It operates similarly to public stock exchanges but focuses on private equity, allowing users to buy and sell shares in companies that haven’t yet gone public.

Almost two years ago, the co-founders approached me with a request to redesign their product. The original design lacked visuals, had a poor user flow, and didn’t provide an ideal experience.
We aimed to create a platform that users would not only enjoy but also recommend to others.

Over the past two years, we’ve been designing and building a new experience to simplify transactions in the secondary market.
