Based in New Zealand’s Wairarapa, my childhood was actually spent making movies in the rural, southern United States. That passion followed me to university where one of my films was selected by IMAX to play before revival screenings of Ang Lee’s “Ride With the Devil.” A year after, I landed my first feature & my career as a full-time filmmaker officially began. In 2008, I began working in Los Angeles, serving as a DoP, editor, and colourist on features, shorts, music videos, and commercials. In 2011, I ventured into writing/directing and producing features (Come Morning and The Perfect Host: A Southern Gothic Tale), and stretched my geographical bounds to Europe and then shifting entirely to NZ, my adopted home since 2016.
