I'm an aspiring record producer, audio engineer, singer-songwriter and composer from South Wales, with a 1st class BA (Hons) in Music & Sound Recording at the University of York. I'm highly motivated, creatively versatile and willing to travel anywhere in the world to build my career in the music industry. I've always loved music, listening to a variety of genres from rock to pop to folk to classical and all things in between. In school, I formed a rock band - The 8:48 - where I wrote original songs and performed extensively across South Wales, building quite a large, local and loyal following. At the age of 17, I independently recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered the band’s debut EP in a bedroom studio - my first full production project and the catalyst for pursuing music production at university. During my degree, I’ve developed experience producing across a wide range of genres, including pop, rock, electronic, folk, and classical music, while refining both my technical and creative approaches to recording and production. The course has also enabled me to collaborate on a range of projects both within and outside of my degree, while exploring broader disciplines such as creative coding, sound studies, and sonic fiction. I’m proficient in multiple DAWs, including Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, and Reaper, alongside music notation and scoring software such as Sibelius. Musically, I've attained ABRSM Grade 7 piano, have undertaken singing lessons up to Grade 7 standard, and have become self-taught on bass and guitar. Alongside songwriting and production, I have a strong interest in composition, particularly music for film and visual media. I've also gained professional experience recording and engineering voiceover narration, with an upcoming credit on the documentary EUROPE: The Band, The Music, The Movie. Most recently, I've released my debut single, "Blurred View", which I wrote, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered independently. I'm excited to work and collaborate with as many people as possible, open to relocating and travelling.
