About
I build open-source AI solutions for social impact, helping enable data-driven decision making and sustainable development across Africa. I’m especially interested in applying AI/ML to real-world problems in areas like agriculture and youth/tech communities.
I have hands-on experience with Python-based AI/ML development, UI prototypes, data cleaning and preprocessing, and contributing to internal LLM projects (UG 40). Through research internships, hackathons, and community leadership, I enjoy turning technical ideas into practical outcomes.

Conducted research on the “Application of Artificial Intelligence in agriculture to support digitization and innovation in the sector.” Analyzed academic and industry sources to develop and contribute to a research paper on AI-driven agricultural technologies and their impact on modern farming.
Contributed to internal AI/ML projects involving integration and development of UG 40, a large language model tailored to the Ugandan context. Worked on prompt engineering, model training and evaluation. Collected, cleaned, and processed datasets and supported an end-to-end data pipeline from raw data preparation through dataset integration for model development. Developed UI prototypes for UG 40 applications and collaborated with the team on the design and implementation of LLM-based solutions.
