MBIA Eugene Richard, known by the stage name Nkanle Mbia, was born on March 22 1993 in Bonabéri-Douala. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Mbia, he grew up in a modest family. Passionate about music and cinema, Nkanle obtains in 2019 a Professional Qualification Diploma from the CIS training school in Douala. Talented director and producer, Nkanle founded his own label, GREENKRAFT STUDIOS. He is behind some short films, including "ELA Renaissance" (2021) and "Kama" (2022), as well as numerous video clips for various artists. After numerous collaborations with the Ministry of Public Health of Cameroon, Nkanle had the honor of being a Laureate of the #FirstStep2023 organized by INCEPTION ARTS & COM and CANAL+ UNIVERSITY. He also won the award of best video clip director at the YOF MUSIC AWARDS 2023. Visionary and ambitious, Nkanlè is determined to revolutionize the landscape of Cameroonian cinematography and to propel new talents onto the stage international. His film 'THE SHADOWS OF THE UNKNOWN' was selected official at the ÉCRANS NOIRS festival 2024 and YARHA Festival 2025.
