I’ve been handling a camera since I was a teenager, and have captured experiences in Tehran, Iran during the Islamic Revolution; Venice and Rome; Athens, London, Paris, Prague; Mexico while tracking migratory wildlife with biology grad students; at weddings, corporate events, private parties, art and cultural outings; and marketing efforts for a variety of businesses and organizations. During that time, in addition to coursework, I shot photos with News 21 on a national reporting project (_Website not available. Sign in: https://www.twine.net/signup_ Since 2018 my clients have contracted my solo services for video and photo at conferences, sit-down interviews, corporate marketing assets, artist profiles, reality tv segments, live productions, and other great projects. - I manage equipment including the camera, audio, and lighting equipment, from one-camera to four-camera shoots; from no audio, to multiple wired and wireless mics; from no lighting to full studio lighting; photography and videography as separate shoots, and in a single shoot - At AZ PBS, as student producer I was responsible for multiple stories, at varying stages of development, requiring story idea development, contacting subjects, scheduling interviews, finding available crew for shoots - Storyboarding and scripting have played small parts in most of my recent work, and I’d love to develop those skills! - Video editing using Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, After Effects on a routine basis, for one-camera one-hour shoots for a 1:00 highlight reel, to 10+ hours across several years and states shooting a family documentary with original scoring, to editing a full online virtual theater productions and scripted, multi-angle, multi-take film scenes. I use Lightroom for all my photography media management and post-production, and Premiere Pro for video footage ingesting, editing, and encoding.
