Declan Molloy (2000- ) is a composer of pieces with bold and colourful narratives. By studying music at Oxford and the Royal Academy of Music, he has explored influences ranging from Claude Debussy to Frank Zappa and collaborated with performers and ensembles to bring his ideas to life. He has worked on original music with the Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra, CHROMA, Asteria Trio, Hill Quartet, Regency Duo, and Contemporary Music for All (CoMA), as well as numerous solo performers including Declan Hickey and Lizzie Knatt. Following his achievement of a DipRAM in composition at the Royal Academy of Music, Declan has moved back to Oxford to continue collaborating with musicians and stage writers from his university days, pursing work running musical events on the side. Recent performances include a premiere at Wigmore Hall featuring London Central Brass.
