Introducing Oyku Dogan, a gifted singer-songwriter, jazz pianist and composer whose music is a symphony of beauty and emotion. Born in the culturally rich city of Izmir, Turkey, Oyku's love for music has been a part of her education and daily life since childhood. From writing and composing to playing instruments and singing in various styles, music has been her passion. After graduating from an American high school, Oyku was drawn to Italy as the perfect place to pursue her intercultural musical aspirations. She received a BA Hons degree in Music Performance from Essex University with a major in jazz piano and continued her classical composition studies at the Giuseppe Nicolini Conservatory in Piacenza. In 2013, Oyku released her first album "Through the Dark We See the Light", completely self-produced. The album received positive feedback from critics and fans. In 2015, she released "Fade Away" and won the Honorable Mention award at the Song of the Year International Contest for the song. In 2016, she recorded 2 singles in Minorca, Spain with EdC, and following that she was a semi-finalist twice at the International Songwriting Competition. In 2019, Oyku released her 2nd album, Moontide, and she's currently working on her 3rd one as well as singles and collabs.
