In the performing arts, I was a singer/guitarist performing folk and country songs on the Grand Canyon Railway steam train that carries tourists to the Grand Canyon; I also performed in a duet for various events around northern Arizona; I have performed as an actress when studying to obtain my B.A. in Theater Arts at UCLA, and as an extra in a few low-budget films on location. I was a lighting designer for live plays around Los Angeles. I have written a number of short stories and children's books (seeking publication). Currently, I work part time from home as an online college course computer software teacher for a community college in California.
