Hi, I’m Ed Willmore, an Animation Director and Lead/Senior Animator with 27 years’ experience in broadcast and online animation. I started with traditional pencil and paper, moved through Adobe Animate/Flash, and spent a decade working with Toon Boom, while also using After Effects and Premiere Pro to finish projects. I love shaping animation pipelines, mentoring teams, and delivering creative work on tight deadlines.
Since September 2024 I’ve been a freelance animator, supervising animation on co-productions like Josephine and Tortel, directing Daisy and Ollie sequences, and building reusable assets and libraries. I enjoy collaborative storytelling, tutorials, and ensuring high-quality animation across multiple episodes and formats.
