About

I have completed my BA (Hons) in Animation at Leeds Arts University and am seeking to secure a role within the Animation industry. I chose animation because I am artistic and want a career that blends creativity with modern technologies. My degree gave me a solid grounding across the animation spectrum, including 2D animation, storyboarding, animatics, stop-motion, puppets, and proficiency with software such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects. I enjoyed working through the full lifecycle from concept to final product, and in my final project I took on the roles of co-director and producer, gaining hands-on team leadership experience.

I am naturally curious and enthusiastic, ready to put in extra study to accelerate my contribution in an employment setting. I have a strong work ethic and supported myself through customer-facing roles during my studies. I enjoy working in teams and have long been interested in art, visiting galleries such as Leeds Art Gallery, The Walker Art Gallery, and the Tate Modern and Tate Britain. I also completed a Set Design Workshop at Leeds Playhouse, which gave me valuable insight into theatre production.

A Whisper in The Woods

A Whisper In The Woods is a short animated film I am currently directing, along with making stop-motion puppets, stop-motion animation, character designs and post-production work. This film is set in medieval times and follows the journey of a young girl who finds herself lost in a strange world of folklore. She meets a friendly creature who helps guide her through the twists and turns of the folklore world to help her get home... or so she thinks. This film is made up of stop-motion puppet animation, 2D rigged animation and 2D frame by frame animation.
