Hi, I’m Ellen Press, a voice over actor with 20+ years of professional storytelling experience for live audiences and a broadcast-ready home studio. I specialize in commercial, narration, corporate, documentary, branding, non-profit, telephony, tutorials, e-learning, and medical narration. I work from a self-built studio equipped with a Sennheiser 416, Logic Pro, and a Scarlett 2i2, and I collaborate remotely via Source Connect, Zoom, and FaceTime/Meta. Demos are available on my website, and samples can be provided on request.
In addition to voice work, I serve on the Founding Board of The Discovery Center for Science and Technology in Ventura County and co-direct and co-author the RAYS (Reading Awakens Young Scientists) program, which delivers award-winning science storytelling and hands-on learning for K-6 students. I also write for publication—To Walk a Mile in Her Heels was featured in Huffington Post, and I’ve contributed pieces such as Ollie and Taavi Celebrate the Holidays (2011) and A Delicious Link to the Past (2003). I stay active in professional communities including CSUN, GVAA, NAVA, and SCBWI.
