Hi, I’m Emiliano Imondi, a composer from Rome, Italy. I trained at the Frosinone Music Conservatory in composition, jazz guitar, and jazz arranging, and I studied jazz for many years with american pianist Barry Harris, as well as attending master classes in composition with Antonio D’Antò, Mauro Montalbetti, Luca Lombardi, Daniel D’Adamo and Aldo Brizzi.
I earned a Master in Film Scoring at the Forum Academy, connected to the Forum Music Village Recording Studios founded by Ennio Morricone. My music has earned prizes such as the Respighi Prize (NY) in 2014 and an Honorable Mention at the Boston Metro Opera Composers Competition in the same year. My works have been performed around the world, including at Carnegie Hall, Milan’s Teatro dell’Arte, and events at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome. I compose for film, theatre and contemporary art exhibitions, and I frequently collaborate with artists like Michele Cossyro and Marco Werba, including work on Hybris (2024).
