Emilia Takayama is a cinematic composer and music producer based in Finland, creating immersive music for film, trailers, games, exhibitions, and cross-disciplinary art.
Her work blends hybrid orchestral writing with organic instrumentation, atmospheric sound design, and bold electronic elements — from intimate emotional underscoring to large-scale trailer cues with impact.
She has composed for international productions and brands, including:
• Wings of Love (2025) – trailer + full 13-min score
• Treasure (2024) – diegetic music for Julia von Heinz’s feature film
• Dubai World Expo 2021 – immersive audio for Finland’s pavilion (Genelec)

Her music has also been featured in installations (Habitare, Avotakka, Genelec), social art projects (EU-funded OMA), and collaborations in New York, London, and Dubai.
A graduate of the Momentum Film Music Mentorship Program in Los Angeles, Emilia brings both technical craft and artistic storytelling to every project. She has toured extensively as a keyboardist, is trained as a piano technician, and currently serves on the grant committee of the Finnish Music Creators’ Association.

I composed the full 13-minute original score for Wings of Love; Helsinki, a 5D immersive cinema film. The project involved close collaboration with the director and production team, shaping themes, pacing, and dynamic musical moments that aligned with motion cues, environmental effects, and visual rhythm.
I also composed the accompanying 40-second epic trailer piece.
The final score became a central emotional layer of the experience, enhancing the film’s impact and storytelling.
