She wanted a site to showcase her social media output and the many articles she has written to counter misinformation. I used several widgets to allow me to pull in her social media feeds, I designed custom icons, refreshed her branding (logo and colors), and I used many Finsweet Attributes to get around the limitations of Webflow's CMS.     This is a passion project of mine. I read voraciously and in 2023, when I bought a Kindle, I began reviewing the things I read and putting the reviews in a Notion file. In 2024, I began to review things I’d watched too, and when the Notion file became unwieldy, I decided to merge my passions and make a custom website for the reviews. This site uses icon-based navigation (and aria labels so the site is friendly to screen-readers), complex filtering of the various interlocked CMSs, a Mailchimp integration to facilitate the sending of a monthly newsletter, a font the requires a bit of custom code to display its ligatures, and Lenis Smooth Scroll so the site feels nice to interact with.
