I’ve spent the last few years as a Design Coordinator in a corporate setting, where I’ve been able to blend creativity with hands-on problem-solving — from lighting and accessories to textiles and pattern work. While I’ve learned a ton about how products move from concept to production, what I’ve always loved most is the creative side of design — especially developing motifs, color stories, and illustrations that bring a brand’s vision to life. A lot of my projects start with concept sketching or digital renderings, and sometimes even more experimental approaches — like sculpting a clay model for a sconce when a flat rendering just wouldn’t cut it. I’ve also spent plenty of time working in Photoshop and Illustrator, breaking down and re-engineering prints, creating layered artwork for packaging, tabletop, and pattern-based design. Those projects really reminded me how much I enjoy visual storytelling and translating ideas into expressive, detailed illustrations. Outside of work, I’ve been sharpening my illustration skills through personal projects — exploring different styles, techniques, and subject matter just for the sake of learning and creative play. It’s been a great way to stay inspired and push my artistic range beyond the day-to-day. Now, I’m looking to move into work that’s more creatively focused — something that lets me dive deeper into concept development, illustration, and surface design. I love exploring different styles, figuring out what makes a visual identity feel cohesive, and seeing how art can shape the emotional tone of a product or brand.
