A freelance audio producer, editor, sound designer, executive producer and lecturer; making national radio since 1999, podcasts plus many other digital audio assets since 2008 and teaching since 2014.
I’m hugely proud to have created a lot of quality content for four UK national radio networks - BBC Radio 4, BBC 5 Live, TalkSPORT and Absolute Radio as well as hundreds of podcasts and other digital media for numerous production companies including Goalhanger, Crowd Network and Fresh Air as well as brands including the Premier League, Bloomberg, Tate, Visa and Auto Trader.
I’m trustworthy, creative, vastly experienced and technically more than competent. My speciality is making your great idea better, or turning its nucleus into a substantial programme, series or project. I’ve bags of skills honed for many years at the BBC, in the commercial and private sectors as well as in academia; I’m also an experienced Audio Journalism Lecturer having taught and led modules at three universities. I currently teach BTEC radio and podcasting at an adult learning college in London and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (now Advance HE).

A podcast series with a difference; an 8 part documentary series charting the work of a school in Kolkata helping street children create a prosperous life for themselves.
This is an immersive sound experience with most of the material recorded on location. I co-produced, edited and mixed series 1; responsibilities included creating the narrative arcs of each episode and the series, proof-reading scripts and audio, as well as editing and sound designing every episode.

Show on The Road is a tri-media podcast, interviewing celebrities and influencers in moving vehicles to discover the places that shaped them and the actual, real roads to their success. Available on all major podcast platforms, youtube and social media, this was a high budget collaborative project between the media team Auto Trader and Fresh Air Production. I was the lead producer, editor and sound designer, responsible for the story arcs of each episode, the briefing calls with each interviewee, conjuring the routes and directing our presenter during the recordings from a lead vehicle. Post production I was responsible for co-ordinating the audio and video content.

A six - part audio documentary (plus publicity assets) on the rise, fall and death of South Africa’s most famous cricketer.
Responsibilities included proof-reading and fact checking scripts and show notes, conferring on the series and episode story-arcs and titles, overseeing copyright clearances for 3rd party material, advising the video editor on the content for social media clips and sound designing all episodes and trails.
