Bachelor of Communication (News and Digital Media) (Honours), with experience working in print and podcast journalist, as well as an in-house videographer/photographer. My Honours year was spent creating a podcast and exploring the process as a form of modern narrative journalism. After finishing university, I spent a year working as a print news journalist for a daily newspaper, while working simultaneously on long-form podcasts. I then moved into the videography space, working for almost 3 years as an in-house communication specialist for a medical research institute - focusing specifically on videography and photography. Given my background in journalism, I specialise in people-driven video storytelling as well as communicating complex ideas, concisely. On top of this, I have experience creating short, compelling content tailored for specific social media or online platforms. I am proficient in use of the Adobe suite (specifically Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop and Indesign) as well as more accessible tools such as Canva.

uniE608 VIDEO: Centre for Conservation Science Overview
In 2025, I spent some time working with the University of Newcastle Centre for Conservation Science. During this stint, I went out in the field with researchers across various projects, capturing their work and interview with them speaking about it. To mark the launch of the Centre, I cut some of this footage together to introduce the work and its role in conservation. This work was completed entirely solo, from concept ideation to scripting, interviewing, capture and editing.
