Dear Church Wear Team, What caught my attention in your listing was one line: you don't print on blanks, you design and manufacture fully custom apparel from the ground up. That distinction matters more than it sounds. Most of my career has been spent on exactly that line — the difference between decorating a garment and building one — and it's the reason I keep choosing technical, construction-led work over surface-level design. For more than 15 years I've designed across performance, outdoor, streetwear and lifestyle — from Adidas Originals to creative and design lead roles at Edelrid, Wild Country, pinqponq and FOND OF. I currently work with Deuter and N3twork, developing colour, trim and construction concepts across their apparel lines, alongside creative direction for MONKEE and design collaborations with Wildling. Adobe Illustrator has been a daily tool throughout, alongside CLO3D for construction and fit — I use both to develop, not just to present. Building clean tech packs, spec sheets and production-ready files that a factory can run with no follow-up questions is second nature. I'm used to working close to the client and close to production at the same time. At FOND OF I led three design teams delivering fast-turnaround kids' collections; more recently I designed a set of customized Wildling shoes turned around in days, not weeks, for DAMUR's show at Berlin Fashion Week. Both taught me the same thing: turning someone else's brief into a production-ready, on-trend garment against a tight deadline is a discipline in itself, not a compromise on quality. I've also spent the last few years working independently — designing solo, sourcing materials, and taking pieces from first sketch through to sample without a team behind me — so owning a project end-to-end, on budget and on schedule, is familiar territory. I'd be glad to take on a project with Church Wear on a freelance basis — collection design, tech packs or production-ready mockups — and can share a full portfolio and start quickly. Best regards, Eva Lynn Haberl

Dear Church Wear Team,

What caught my attention in your listing was one line: you don’t print on blanks, you design and manufacture fully custom apparel from the ground up. That distinction matters more than it sounds. Most of my career has been spent on exactly that line — the difference between decorating a garment and building one — and it’s the reason I keep choosing technical, construction-led work over surface-level design.

For more than 15 years I’ve designed across performance, outdoor, streetwear and lifestyle — from Adidas Originals to creative and design lead roles at Edelrid, Wild Country, pinqponq and FOND OF.

I’m used to working close to the client and close to production at the same time. At FOND OF I led three design teams delivering fast-turnaround kids’ collections; more recently I designed a set of customized Wildling shoes turned around in days, not weeks, for DAMUR’s show at Berlin Fashion Week. Both taught me the same thing: turning someone else’s brief into a production-ready, on-trend garment against a tight deadline is a discipline in itself, not a compromise on quality.
I’ve also spent the last few years working independently — designing solo, sourcing materials, and taking pieces from first sketch through to sample without a team behind me — so owning a project end-to-end, on budget and on schedule, is familiar territory.

I’d be glad to take on a project with Church Wear on a freelance basis — collection design, tech packs or production-ready mockups — and can share a full portfolio and start quickly.

Best regards,
Eva Lynn Haberl

I work closely at the intersection of creative direction and technical execution. My current project for deuter's bike and sleeping system range is perhaps the best illustration: I develop directly in CLO3D, working in close alignment with production, vendors and product development teams to translate design intent into precise, manufacturable product. In parallel, I develop multiple apparel lines for N3twork, covering colour and trim concepts, construction and collection architecture across several categories. I am proficient in CLO3D and VIZCOM and have hands-on experience managing digital patterns, virtual samples and fit iterations across multi-season timelines.
