I am Erick Villegas, born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on July 26, 1986. I specialize in two main areas: sound post-production and music production. Over the past 10 years, I have gained extensive experience working as an audio post-producer for the television channel Ecuavisa, handling post-production on their most important novelas and series. Currently, I run a state-of-the-art post-production studio in Guayaquil where I have worked on several feature films. As a musician, I studied music theory early on in school and took jazz improvisation courses with Berklee College of Music representatives. Later, I traveled to Barcelona, Spain to study Contemporary Music Theory at Conservatori Liceu de Barcelona. I am currently studying Film and Television Music Composition at Berklee College of Music. I have been part of several bands, including Sepia, Guajazz which was a jazz revelation in 2006, and Cactus Gamarra.
