I work at Ultrapulp a Digital Agency in Italy, I'm Lead designer at Appstyx, a software company that work for mobile and web applications, and I'm a consultant of a series of big companies, with 10+ years of real-world experience. I've been featured as a UX/UI expert for companies like Q8, Eni, Giorgio Armani, Sanofi Aventis, and many more. Before starting my company, I worked my way up the corporate ranks as a graphic designer for printing companies and as a web/mobile visual designer freelancer. I’ve seen boom times and bad times, been through layoffs (on both sides of the desk) and have known more people than I can remember. It’s this experience that helped me develop my unique approach to face the challenges. I believe visual design should be all about the reality that surround us. In any product that we were involved, physical or digital, there will always be behind an experience to study and improve. The secret to ux design success, is showing exactly what users expect from that experience, in the most intuitive way possible. Everything about my design process, approach and style is geared towards achieving that result. When I'm not designing, training my mind, or blogging/tweeting about new design trends, also for related topics like photography, typography, cinema, 3D, animations, illustrations, and so on; you'll probably find me photograph all around or reading in my garden where I grow both flowers and vegetables, admittedly with mixed results.
