Seyed Farid Hosseini

I’m Seyed Farid Hosseini, an independent film editor based in Tehran with nearly a decade of experience shaping both short and feature projects. I earned my MFA in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts and am an official member of ISFA, bringing a blend of creative storytelling and technical editing to every project. I’ve collaborated on documentaries, shorts, and feature films, and I’ve also written a number of short scripts. I’m passionate about crafting clear, compelling narrative through precise editing, rhythm, and pacing, and I love collaborating with directors to bring their vision to life.

When I’m not cutting footage, you’ll find me exploring new storytelling ideas, mentoring aspiring editors, and staying up-to-date with the latest editing tools and techniques. I’m always open to new projects and opportunities to push the boundaries of storytelling in film and video.
