I am a coffee powered MA graduate in Sound Design for Film and Television. I was introduced to sound design for film when I joined college and developed a passion for it. Since 2014 I began increasing my studies into the field of sound edit/design for film, Foley, and location/field recording. This brought me to studying for a masters degree in Sound Wizardry (MA Sound Design for Film and Television) and ultimately graduating from Bournemouth University. When I am involved in a project, I like to work closely with the director and the production team to ensure we create the best sound to evoke emotions, tell stories, illustrate vivid images where the picture doesn’t exist and to support narrative where it does. From designing atmosphere and supporting characters, to other sound elements, that would augment the director’s vision and be transported into reality, I am skilled at using the latest technology to harness, play with and shape sounds sourced from the many layers existent around us.
