Hello, I’m François Dayre, a documentary filmmaker, videographer and editor based in Tokyo. I shoot and edit online video content from doc-style pieces to branded and creator-focused YouTube videos, handling everything from framing and on-location recording to sound and color, with clean, organised file delivery.
I collaborate with Paris-based production company Koudeta Films and have edited projects such as Our Roots Remain and the trailer for Green Gold, showcased at IDFA.
I’m also the co-founder of BIAS, a K-pop media platform with 60K followers and 1.5M+ monthly views, so I’m very familiar with fast-paced, social-media-native production. Earlier, I directed and produced the 41-episode podcast La Danse du Zèbre for Radio Nova, conducting dozens of interviews and curating archives. I love working closely with creators to capture well-composed, engaging footage and bring stories to life.
