Stress has become a normal part of everyday life for many young women. Balancing study, work, relationships, social expectations, and personal wellbeing can feel overwhelming, yet stress-management information is often presented in a clinical or inaccessible way. My final project, Calm in the Chaos, aims to make wellbeing feel more approachable, practical, and inclusive for women aged 18–30 in New Zealand.
Through a digital wellness platform and supporting campaign, I want to encourage young women to pause, check in with their emotions, and find strategies that suit their individual needs. The app will offer quick activities, such as breathing exercises and yoga, alongside longer guided plans for users who want more ongoing support. Mood tracking, saved activities, community discussion, and links to local resources will help make stress management part of everyday life rather than something only addressed during a crisis. video animator app uxdesign…Stress has become a normal part of everyday life for many young women.
