Captain at UBC Third Quadrant Design Tea (TQD)

September 1, 2023 - Present

Co-led the Architecture Team; facilitated weekly team meetings, design workshops, and brainstorming sessions to advance the design phase for TQD’s competition entry to the 2024 and 2025 US Department of Energy Solar Decathlon. Collaborated with all Engineering sub-teams during team leads meetings to coordinate important information and finalize design considerations including proposed structural, electrical and mechanical system layouts. Placed 3rd in the Attached Housing Division of the 2024 US Department of Energy Solar Decathlon Design Challenge. Participated in the construction phase of the team’s Third Space Commons Build Challenge project for 2 hours a week through window restoration and installation. Engaged with various sub-teams of the club to learn team goals, dynamics, responsibilities of members and leads.
