I’m Gabriele Ranfagni, a lead animator and creature supervisor with 30 years in the industry. I help teams bring believable movement to life, specializing in body mechanics, performance, and creature animation, using my K©AOS method and IdentiRig toolkit. I’ve worked on major VFX and feature productions with studios like MPC and Axis, shaping both individual artists and whole teams. I focus on structuring teams, guiding creative performance, and delivering compelling, believable movement—with a deep expertise in creature and character work. I created the K©AOS system to unite technical clarity and artistic intent. This method isn’t reserved only for teaching individuals— in several studios, I’ve trained full teams using K©AOS, directly applying it to real production workflows.
Beyond production work, I founded ANIMAFLOW and continue to mentor and train the next generation of animators through live programs and custom rigs. I coach in English and Italian, run workshops on creature animation and anatomy, and provide industry referrals and networking to help top talents advance into senior roles at world-class studios.
