My name is Gustavo Diaz (Gus for short). I am an experienced videography/video editor with 10 years of ‘Advanced’ experience in After Effects and even more years of experience in THE FULL Adobe Suite Premiere and DaVinci Resolve. I was Mike Goldman’s YouTube Channel Producer and Editor (former Big Brother TV show host). I have shot and edited multiple videos for Mike over the years, including a few LIVE interviews for Big Brother on Channel 7 for Sonia Kruger. (Refer photos next page). I was also an apprentice for a sound engineer working as his assistant on feature films recording Willem Dafoe’s voice for his animated character in Death Note (Netflix) and Nick Hamilton’s ADR for the Stephen King “IT” film (Chapter One).
I have worked as a freelance film maker/editor for the last 10 years, working on a combination of commercial promos to directing a documentary, short films, and corporate training videos for BP Fuel. I have recorded weddings, bands performing at venues, church youth gatherings, a fashion show, and a Steampunk themed gathering at a park as a videographer. All paid. I frequently watch YouTube most days of the week to keep up to date with tech, I am subscribed to many channels ranging from Film Making, After Effects VFX channels, to 4WD and Camping channels.
