Digital Technician at STEAMhouse

- Responsible for the recording and post production of podcasts, from liaising with clients pre-booking, to the set-up, management of equipment, video and audio recording, and post-production to the point of publishing. Experienced in working with Blackmagic cameras, ATEM software, and post-production audio editing in Adobe Audition, and post-production video editing in Davinci Resolve including topping/tailing, video / call-to-action / image overlays, addition of any music and sound design elements - General video and audio recording for events, such as documenting live events, recording testimonials and more - Live sound engineering work, plus set-up for any requested audio & lighting such as microphones, live background music, presentations, all working with small to large audiences within various STEAMhouse facilities - Working alongside Arup maintaining and running our SoundLab, an immersive ambisonics space, regularly configuring and running demos utilising Max MSP patches. Involved in the assembling and building of a rig for equipment, working and configuring pieces of AV equipment for the loudspeakers and projector. - Further digital innovation projects, including; - Motion capture, including the use and recoring of Rokoko Smartsuits, gloves and head rigs, collaborating with companies and cliental using the equipment - VR, using various MetaQuest & Oculus models - 9m immersive screen, regularly running demos and troubleshooting errors - General maintenance of equipment and the Create Lab space, and installing any updates / configuring any issues with AV equipment
