Hello! I’m György Marton, an automotive engineer and researcher based at Széchenyi István University. I focus on propulsion technology and power electronics, designing and validating 1D thermodynamic simulations (AVL BOOST, GT SUITE), supporting 3D CFD with 3D scanning and reverse engineering (GOM ATOS), and conducting emissions testing on engine test benches and in real driving through PEMS. I also manage measurement and simulation data and contribute to project documentation with clear visuals and insights. Previously, I interned at Audi Hungaria Zrt., where I did tribology and component failure analyses, surface characterization with digital optical and confocal microscopy (LEICA DCM3D), CAD modeling, and supported engine test bench operations for durability, RDE, and emissions tests. My ongoing PhD research explores AI-based estimation of pollutant emissions and vehicle range using traffic and environmental parameters. I enjoy collaborative problem solving, rigorous data analysis, and sharing results with strong technical storytelling.
