Gergely Vass

I’m Gergely Vass, a camera operator with around 20 years of on-set experience, working across main unit and second unit productions, with a strong specialization in underwater cinematography. I’ve served as underwater DOP and underwater camera operator, as well as B/C and A camera operator and (substitute) DOP on a range of narrative projects.

I’ve enhanced visual storytelling on well-known productions such as “F1 – The Movie”, “Until Dawn”, and “Now You See Me 3”, and I’ve also worked on the “Halo” series seasons in both camera and VFX unit roles. I’m currently filming “Crawl 2” and continue to bring a collaborative, story-driven approach to every set—whether in underwater environments, action sequences, or post-production camera work.
