paper T shirt Designer @ Junk Food / Alternative Apparel, Fred Segal, Macy’s West, Von Dutch, Kitson

For 5 years I worked under private or “white label”developments for the likes of Fred Segal to launch and design a label known as Junk Food. The blanks came from a Brand named Alternative Apparel as they proposed the project to me to design their vintage T’s. We sold to Fred Segal, Kitson and other well-known retailers.

I handled both the choosing of washes of fabrics, bodies and prints with permissions from ownership of Licenses from the likes of Kellogs and Campbell’s soup, amongst other rock band and vintage signage that were identifiable to bring a revolution into the world of high end t-shirts.
