With over 25 years of experience, I have been extensively involved in the design and development of Java, Kubernetes container platforms, cloud solutions, web systems, and microservices application architectures for medium to large organisations. My career spans multiple industries, including mining, energy, finance, insurance, manufacturing, health, and pharmaceuticals.
As a technical professional with a strong foundation in both architecture and development, I have built expertise in cloud-native applications, microservices, integration, and cloud technologies such as Java, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and AWS. These skills have been honed through my work with industry leaders such as BHP, Fortescue Metals Group, IBM, Schneider Electric, Empired, and Akkodis (formerly Modis).
Beyond my professional engagements, I am committed to staying at the forefront of technology. I actively maintain a structured program of personal projects to refine my skills with modern tools and frameworks including Git, OpenShift (Kubernetes), automated CI/CD pipelines, AI, neural networks, MCP, Java, and Angular. This dedication to continuous learning ensures my expertise remains both current and highly relevant.
