I'm a filmmaker and videographer, originally from America I grew up in Scotland. I've been working in the Scottish television industry for the last 6 years, and now am focusing on securing more freelance work, in response to the current industry crisis. I come in a small but mighty package: My work in editorial production within factual entertainment, has given me fantastic experience working with clients, contributors, and the ability to sweet talk my way into anything. I'm a great team player, but can work independantly also. I love working hands-on, either filming or editing or both. I specialised in camera during University, and worked as a freelance videographer and photographer before working in television. Not being given an oppertunity to use these skills, I decided to develop, produce, direct and shoot an independant documentary about the underground queer scene in Glasgow. I've been working on this project for a year, following the contributors around as they plan and host high concept club nights. This has been a huge learning experience and has developed me into an experienced filmmaker. With the project now coming to an end, I'm looking for something new to sink my teeth into. --- -Experience- Hot & Cold Productions (My own independant company created for this project) July 2023 – Present Shooting Producer/Director - Gender Euphoria • Directing, producing and shooting a year-long independent documentary. • Managed all aspects of production, including shooting schedules, location access, and contributor coordination. IwC Media Aug 2022 – Sept 2023 Assistant Producer - Location Location Location • Responsible for main show casting, property search, shoot planning, and on-location coordination. • Managed schedules and worked closely with contributors. Curve Media March 2023 Assistant Producer - GPs in the Wild • Managed on-location production at hospital/A&E for observational documentary. BBC Feb 2022 – May 2022 Casting Researcher - Dragons’ Den • Handled casting, auditions, pitch preparation, due diligence, and contributor management. Various Productions 2018 – 2022 Freelance Researcher & Junior Researcher • Worked on several high-profile projects, including Perfect Home Secret Location, Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, Pride of Scotland, and Jimmy’s Big Bee Rescue. • Responsible for casting, shoot scheduling, location planning, and fact-checking.
