I’m Hindol Deb, a sitarist and composer exploring crossover of Indian classical music with Jazz, Western classical, Flamenco, Nordic folk, and beyond. I love weaving the subtle microtonal glides of Indian music into melodic textures that take listeners on a journey across cultures. Rooted in a traditional Indian classical background, I earned a Master’s in Jazz Improvisation in Cologne and have received state and national scholarships, music residencies, and invitations to renowned festivals.
