I worked on rebuilding and transforming an existing website into a functional AI automation platform called Genesis AI Pro. When I first got access to the project, the website was mostly a front-end build. It had the design, sections, and forms in place, but almost everything was non-functional. The sign-up, login, free trial, and contact forms were not connected to any backend, buttons were not triggering real actions, and the AI chat behaved more like a general chatbot instead of a business tool. The first phase of my work was a full rebuild of the core functionality. Instead of redesigning, I focused on activating what was already built. I went through every form and interactive element on the site and connected them to working logic. This included adding proper validation, fixing submission flows, handling errors, and making sure users received real feedback instead of just clicking dead buttons. After stabilizing the front-end behavior, I moved into rebuilding the authentication system. I implemented a working sign-up and login flow, making sure users could create accounts, log in securely, and access protected pages. This involved handling user data, validating credentials, managing sessions, and fixing redirect logic so users would land in the right place after login. Once authentication was working, I focused on building the onboarding and provisioning flow. The goal was to make the system feel automated. I created a flow where, after a user signs up, their account is initialized automatically. This included setting up a basic structure for their workspace, preparing the AI receptionist, and simulating initial automation so the platform didn’t feel empty. Then I built the dashboard (command center). This was not just a UI page — I made sure it connected with the user session and displayed relevant sections like AI receptionist, leads, bookings, and automation status. The idea was to give users a central place to interact with the system. A major shift happened when I had to rework the AI receptionist. Initially, it responded like a general-purpose chatbot, which didn’t align with the business goal. I redesigned its behavior so it acts like a receptionist for service-based businesses. It now guides conversations toward bookings, captures lead information, and adapts to different industries instead of being limited to one niche. After that, I restructured the system for scalability. Instead of keeping it tied to one use case, I built it in a way that supports multiple industries like real estate, dental, HVAC, and more. This required thinking in terms of reusable setups, where the same system can adapt based on the user’s business type without needing a full rebuild. Finally, I prepared the platform for integrations.
