Hiya! My name’s Amelia, and I’m a creative and detail-oriented 2D Artist and Games Writer with strong experience in script writing, storyboarding, and visual storytelling. I’ve honed my skills in crafting engaging narratives and bringing characters and worlds to life through both dialogue and visuals. After graduating from London South Bank University with a Ba in Games Design and Development, I’m currently studying narrative design under industry mentor Adam Miller (Insomniac Games/Bungie), further sharpening my storytelling techniques and game writing craft. Project: Silverback is an ongoing webcomic I have been solo-developing for the past few years, finally at a point where I can start uploading episodes. I originally developed this project as an RPG concept, but wanted to see how the idea could be explored in a comic format, especially since my main experience is in video games.
The concept follows Dr. Angie Obote, a scientist at the city of Ether’s leading cybernetic innovation - V/DA. She secretly oversees the company’s shady military experiments - including Silverback, a dangerous cyber-soldier. When V/DA’s newest project - a rogue AI dubbed The Echo - threatens to shut down Ether’s entire tech system, Angie must unleash the very weapon they once locked away.
