Hi, I’m IVÁN GARCÍA, an audio professional with over 10 years of experience in audio post, location sound, and creative team coordination. I’ve collaborated on feature films, short films, and high-impact commercial campaigns across Mexico and internationally.
I’ve been refining my skills in mixing, sound design, and editing. From pre-production to final delivery, I’m passionate about audiovisual language, music, and storytelling through sound. For this project, I was commissioned by Bayer to create an immersive sound narrative presented at Expo Agroalimentaria Guanajuato 2021. The piece combines original Foley recordings with curated library assets, mixed using binaural technology. Headphones use is recommended.
Designed and delivered the Sound Design curriculum, guiding students through practical and theoretical aspects of audio editing, Foley, ADR, field recording, and re-recording.
Collaborated as a producer, sound designer, or audio engineer on 100+ projects including feature films, short films, and high-impact ad campaigns. Built long-term relationships with corporations, ad agencies, and production companies, delivering audiovisual post-production services, voiceover licensing, and audio engineering consulting. Processed over 40 voiceover licensing agreements for artists in Mexico and the U.S. Coordinated audiovisual teams for major campaigns (Walmart, Nupec, Voit, Kärcher, Bayer, and more).
Developed workflow optimization processes across departments to eliminate production bottlenecks. Recorded over 2,000 voiceovers for Latin America's largest e-learning platform. Coordinated production teams for Atrévete a Saber and contributed as sound designer.
