Hi, I’m Jose Antonio Cerro, an animator with extensive experience in feature films and television. Since 1992 I’ve contributed to more than 20 features for studios such as Disney, Warner and Filmax, working on projects like El Cid, The Legend and Nocturna. I’ve also supervised animation, done character design and storyboarding, and taught animation and film narrative at ECAM in Madrid for ten years as Animation Speciality Chief.
In recent years I’ve led animation on Warner Brothers’ Merry Little Batman (2023) and taken on senior roles across international productions including MINT, Sausage Party: Foodtopia, and Emmy & Gooroo. I love collaborating across teams and styles, from 2D to cinematic gameplay cinematics like Lords of Shadow, and I’m always excited to take on new storytelling challenges.
